About Your Instructor

My life changed overnight when an MRI revealed a tennis ball-sized tumor in my brain. After a 14-hour surgery to remove it, I woke up with the left side of my body completely numb. Walking up a single flight of stairs felt like a full workout, and even simple tasks like going to the bathroom required me to hold onto something for balance.
